About Sherry

I would like to extend a “thank you” for taking the time to look at my products. I have been “creating” as long as I can remember. As a small girl I made garland out of tying the leaves of the Sycamore tree together. The leaves are big and the stems are long and rubbery which was ideal for tying. I never measured them but my garlands were almost the length of my house! Every year my mother would buy me a new craft item at Christmas or for my birthday and I would engross myself and my energy into painting, making pot holders, making jewelry and anything new that sparked my interest. Very proudly my paintings would hang on my walls and my pot holders would hang in the kitchen. I took Home Economics and Woodshop classes in High School. There I learned the basics of how to Sew, Knit, Crochet, Macramé and Needlepoint. I learned the fine art of Carving, Blending of Woods and Woodburning. After my High School years I made clothing for my children and curtains for my home and made crafts for birthdays and Christmas presents. Every craft that I made was personalized with what the person’s likes were. A flower basket with the colors of blues for a kitchen or a flower hat with the type of flowers that person liked, was always kept in mind to make the gift special. Upon the recommendation from family and friends I started Sherry’s Naturals in 2006. I am a believer in God and a believer in nature. I believe that what we take from the earth one day will return to the earth, therefore, everything that I make I try and find materials that are natural. I use cotton and 100% cotton batting for my quilts, my jewelry consists of 90% wood or glass beading and my candles are made from soy and cotton wicking. If there is something already made that I can recycle and reuse, I will use it. Every care is taken to make sure my customers are satisfied. I will work with you every step of the way on special orders and will not charge extra fees. Special IS my business!
